Inspired by the 17th century shoe silhouette and named after Louis XIV of France, the “Louis” shoe by Andrea Wazen has me absolutely hooked. The Louis shoe is powerful and masculine, yet extremely flattering, accentuating your ankles and shins. The design exudes strength and confidence as though with this pair, you can take over the world.
The shoes are whimsical, theatrical, and story-telling. Yes, I just used “story-telling” as an adjective. Every shoe in the Andrea Wazen collection tells a story, makes a gesture, and leaves you with a little bit of magic.
So far, she’s the best thing to happen to womens’ legs in the Middle East and I’m pretty sure this woman is going places. Andrea reminds me of a 1970′s Manolo Blahnik, paving the way to new shoe heights. Literally- did you see her 16′s?
